Ashish Tyagi was born in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh to a paramilitary soldier and his wife. Right from his childhood he wanted to be an actor,he was a full filmy child,was very keen to watch films and always used to imitate actors like Shahrukh khan,Amrish puri etc,he is big Shahrukh fan,as he grew up in a military background he is very disciplined,and conscious about his health,after completing his graduation in Engineering he came to Mumbai to pursue his dreams,he started job in Wipro and simultaneously he joined Makarand despande's Ansh theatre group,but he didn't get any chance there to perform on stage,he was there in the group for 6 months and later on he joined Kumud Mishra's theatre group "D FOR DRAMA" which was the turning point in his career,he quit the job later as it was very tough to do both the things,he did several plays with the group and he got the chain of talented people from there and right from there he started doing plays all over the city,in 2016 he got his first break in Hansal Mehta's web series "BOSE" produced by Ekta Kapoor,he played the character of "AUROBINDO" and later on he did some films like Prasthanam,Blank,nirdosh as an actor and some episodics with Vipul D shah's Optimystix productions,and recently he did a Yash raj banner's "MARDANI2" he adapted the script and trained the antagonist in a particular dialect and was an invaluable asset to the film and currently he worked in Nilesh sahay's "SQUAD" produced by zee studios,he is playing the character of Girish.
