She has studied with the Upright Citizens Brigade theater, Groundlings theater, and advanced Misner acting with Joanna Sanchez. Cassandra grew up in Denver, CO with her mother Joyce Cardenes, a registered nurse, and her father Luis Cardenes, a Cuban immigrant and Spanish to English interpreter.
