The cast was put to the test as the format of this half hour comedy pilot is heavily long-form improvisation based. We often only did 2 to 3 takes and shot with up to four cameras at a time to make certain that when that magic moment happened and we riffed that we had as much coverage as possible. The skills needed and the preparation are no less than that of a scripted role, yet requiring the actor to malleable to the instant changing dynamics of the situation. When it came to editing, Gregory really kicked himself in the head for coming up with the concept. As you'll see if you watch the Twitter Vine Video Intros of each character, Gregory developed the concept that each actor justified their character's role in Bobby's, our hero's story line. Some had a hard time with the concept initially, but flew really quickly once they adjusted. This is Gregory's best analogy: "I've just given you a Black Amex card and said spend it however you like.
