Das Boot [Sub: Eng]

Description
In a documentary story about a German submarine that sank deep into the Atlantic Ocean during World War II. Crew management works within the submarine but they face tense conflicts and long stretches of boredom. While Werner's war correspondent notes the daily life aboard the U-96. Conflicts begin when the courageous captain struggles to maintain his own motives and sometimes the morale of the ship by confronting fierce battles and severe storms within that submarine.

It is unlike any other war film in that it confines the audience in a confined submarine where we digest the fear and panic of the human beings on screen. In short, "Das Boot" is a religious experience.
