More specially, the person who is responsible for the duty for saving the world not only just the heroes but also the criminal, the assassin and the avenger. All the characters have assembled to create a team to fight the common enemy.

For much of its 122 minutes, Gunn's grab-bag of quirky characters, genre ribbing, and incongruent '70s pop tunes goes over like gangbusters. The trouble is, it's only irreverent to a point.
