Jonathan

Description
In an exciting story about a young man named Jonathan, a successful young man working in an architecture firm. Jonathan wakes up every morning and prepares his breakfast meal with a video telling him everything about what will happen in his day. Jonathan is the night owl and perhaps a little bit of the chaos he carries, but the only problem is that these two species inhabit the same body as Jonathan, which expresses the careful planning that will collapse later.

Unfortunately, the film's structure works against our emotional involvement. The problem is that we see the story almost entirely from Jonathan's perspective.

It's not flavorful enough to support the full run time, but the material periodically succeeds in strangeness.

Taken on its own confidently crafted terms, "Jonathan" is an intelligent, absorbing tale that provides an impressive showcase for "Baby Driver" star Ansel Elgort.

Jonathan, which serves a double dose of Ansel Elgort, is sure to satisfy fans of the sci-fi genre in a gently challenging way (even if symbiotic multi-consciousness isn't your thing).

Succeeds thanks to a credibly bifurcated performance by star Ansel Elgort.
