Description
A dramatic film about the life of a writer who spent four troubled years in the two countries where India and Pakistan live. It is the writer Manto whose stories have been widely read and accepted. When sectarian violence began to emerge in the nation, Manto made the difficult choice of leaving the beloved Bombay to the city of Lahore. In that city, Manto found himself deprived of friends and unable to find the authors of his writings and therefore his addiction leads him to drop unexpectedly.
