Obey (2018)

Description
A different kind of drama tells about a young man who loved a girl from a place far from London. In that period, East London's real estate was plagued by violent social unrest and a seemingly catastrophic life. After a long time, the life of the young man began to take another turn when he found himself torn between here and there during his love for that girl under difficult circumstances.

Writer/director Jamie Jones sets the story, location, urban scenes and tense relationships in a boiling pot brimming over with illicit drug use, binge drinking, petty crime and the wildness of youth.

While he doesn't quite tackle a new subject for a first-time British film-maker, Jamie Jones delivers something different and for the most part absorbing in Obey, a drama set during the East London riots of 2011.
