Description
Adopted from the life of the Indian expert field hockey player, Sandeep Singh. Singh had a terrible mishap which drove him to incapacity. He must be in a wheelchair for a long time. Amid this period, he attempts to do whatever he can to come back to the field once more.

What holds this film together is the performance by Diljit Dosanjh...the glint in his eye changes from impish to determined, and it is this that elevates Soorma from what would otherwise have been a run-of-the-mill sports film.
