The Innocent Man - Season 1

Description
We live a real and powerful adventure that speaks of a new world of adventure in this documentary series about the world of crime and risk. The series begins with the appearance of a young woman in 1982 in Ada, Oklahoma, which may be a cause of concern because the woman seems wild. Two years after that incident, there are rumors that there is a link to the presence of another woman similar to the woman who disappeared long ago, which may make investigations take another turn.

Watching The Innocent Man is like watching a genre calcify in real time, stirring up a rudimentary sense of curiosity and outrage while running through every true-crime cliche imaginable with little sense of focus or urgency or formal experimentation.

It's not exactly an artistic flop. It's also not an artistic masterpiece. It's a formulaic, non-boundary-pushing, 100% vanilla iteration of its genre (not surprising, given the source).

The story is ingeniously played out, each episode ending on a cliffhanger that makes binge-watching virtually unavoidable.
