Billions - Season 4 Episode 07: Infinite Game

Description
The fourth season offers a strong series of drama, where Alex still seems to insist on breaking Taylor and perhaps make a strong plan for his rhythm. On the other hand, Taylor is thinking of getting into a job with a new partner in his company and his business, and Axe asks strangely to help Chuck. On the other hand, it seems that Chuck is taking a bold step to push his career to a completely different turn.

Its brilliance is in the way Axe callously crushes Taylor and Douglas while also making me cry tears of joy...

The tables are turning so rapidly in this episode, they're practically spinning; that's what makes for an infinite game.

There's no escaping from this world - or from this "infinite game," as the episode is titled. Not that the characters would want to escape.

A tremendous payoff for the work Maggie Siff has done in creating Wendy's aura.

Infinite Game does feel like that at times-it's a little too meandering...but by the time the credits roll, things have changed in a big way, and that's impressive.
