Columbo - Season 8

Description
The eighth season follows a series of dramatic events, as the general asks a close associate of the Frank investigation and the special project fund that still has doubts. Instead of reporting his fraudulent results to the general, he appears to be trying to blackmail Frank to get some money. For that, Frank seems to have agreed and started planning to kill him.

We know whodunit and how, but the fun, as always, is watching Falk drive the villain nuts with no end of apparently stupid questions: "Uh, one more thing, sir."

"Columbo" is really just the thing for those who think "Murder, She Wrote" is too fast-paced and raucous.

Though somewhat repetitive, with scripts at times reworking characters and situations done before, and despite a dearth of big-name guest stars, [Peter] Falk's endearing characterization holds it all together.
