Description
The third season begins with a wide range of powerful surprises as the family tries to persuade Martha to hold a lavish dinner party. Ms. Hughes faces a major crisis in her life and Crowley is eagerly waiting for the new addition to come to the family soon. Anna is trying to find evidence to prove Bates's innocence. On the other hand, things are getting worse day after day at Downtown Abbey as Robert and Cora do not talk and the servants avoid Matthew, Isobel.

Since Downton has just been renewed for a fourth season, perhaps Fellowes can begin taking more time with the writing to let events play out more realistically and treat his characters with the respect they've earned.
