The Body is probably the funniest movie Blumhouse has ever produced, and intentionally so, playing almost like a gory spoof of their own Purge series.

[The Body's] willingness to play its own game, to be tawdry and cheap in a streaming landscape in which bigger and bolder statements are made... feels like something unusual, something worth noting even as only diehards may delight in it.
