A great start to the third season. It has everything we love about the show, a great con, witty dialogue and Parker.

I'm not usually invested in the shady scheming going on in a typical Leverage episode, but I found this [premiere] pretty captivating, even if the story was mostly played for laughs.

What I find most enjoyable about Leverage are the small flashbacks where we see how something that was done earlier played into the overall success of the mission. It's like a fast-moving game of "where's Waldo."

Consistent with the majority of this good-not-great show that delivers disposable, popcorn entertainment.

Featured a truly hissworthy villain, Dan Blackwell (played with boo-able aplomb by Bruce Davison).

Really, the bar we should judge shows like Leverage by is how entertaining they are, and by almost any measure, I'd say season three was the most entertaining season of Leverage yet.
