For all its screwball comedy with the Hendrix clan, this episode was also a bit of an exposition dump.

From Instinct to Rational Control juggles both a new series of stories for the individual clones as well as furthering the season's arc.

"From Instinct to Rational Control" keeps the clones connected in purpose, yet in many ways they're drifting from one another personally.

Basically, no one won anything this episode (unless you count Ferdinand winning at not getting blown to bits), but all the reveals gave us a great episode.

It's possible, in fact, that M.K. tipped off Sarah to the imminent attack in Iceland in the first place in order to eventually lead them all to this endgame. Seems a stretch, but Orphan Black has pulled off stretchier.

So, Ferdinand is back. I have to confess: I have never been able to hate this dude. He's so weird and gross and cold-blooded and totally a coward, but I'm still psyched he's back.

"From Instinct to Rational Control" (and, indeed, the series as a whole) is a hard item to critique-after all, it's near impossible to properly judge rising action until you have the whole layout to judge it against.

Orphan Black Season 4 Episode 4 revealed much to its audience, both about the mysterious MK's motives and backstory, and the larger "Big Bad" of Orphan Black Season 4.

So far the fourth season has done a terrific job of taking some of the focus from Sarah and the other clones and allowing the supporting characters to shine through.

The fourth episode of Orphan Black gave us some classic moments that make us love to be in #CloneClub.
