Ripper Street - Season 1

Description
This dramatic series begins with many powerful and criminal events that look quite different. The series opens with many surprises. Most notably, when a mutilated corpse of a young woman was found in White Chappelle, Detective Inspector Edmund Reid fears that Jack the Assassin has returned to be killed again. On the other hand, a man dies in the street, and the word soon spreads that the cholera may be responsible for it. However, Jackson thinks another way.

Despite a notable dropoff from the first-rate premiere to the so-so second episode, for those drawn to the oft-told Ripper story, this is definitely a "Street" worth visiting.
