Southland - Season 1

Description
The series takes a 'raw and authentic look' at Los Angeles and the lives of the LAPD officers who police it. John Cooper is a seasoned Los Angeles cop assigned to train young rookie Ben Sherman. And although Cooper's harsh, tell-it-like-it-is approach often leaves Ben questioning whether he has what it takes to be a cop, he remains on the force.

Southland is unbearable - a pretentious, foul-mouthed, overly arty chore that will leave you with a headache should you linger too long.

As each episode draws to its conclusion, Southland becomes as evocative as a music video.
