Wallander (2008) - Season 3

Description
Season 3 of the engrossing mystery series adapted from Swedish crime author Henning Mankell's 'Inspector Wallander' books finds the morose police detective (Kenneth Branagh) experiencing good times, for a change: he and Vanja (Saskia Reeves) move into a quaint country home together. But just when things finally seem to be going his way, life reverses course: a decade-old corpse is found buried on the property. Other cases see him uncovering police corruption in Riga, Latvia, when looking into the murder of a Latvian cop who had helped him with a homicide investigation; and pursuing leads in an arson-murder. He also has an uneasy reconciliation with Linda (Jeany Spark), who has surprising news for him.

Vide Shakespeare and all the other roles, Mr. Branagh has never been better cast.
